MINUTES

The minutes from the meeting of September 2002 were approved.

 

NECB&I

The date for the ìNew England, Conservation Biology, and the Internetî Symposium was changed.

 

GCC&BIODIVERSITY

• Posters & refreshments would be made available from the Tufts Institute for the Environment (TIE)
• A title for the event was suggested as "Seasons out of Sync."

 

CAREER DAY

Discussion of the Earth Day celebration at Salem State College.

DARWIN FESTIVAL

Discussion of the week-long event at Salem State College.

 

CONSERVATION PERSONALS

There was a long discussion of pros and cons of having some sort of Internet mechanisms to connect people interested in working on conservation biology.

FINANCIAL REPORT

Everything is good. Our financial situation has improved since last meeting.

ELECTIONS

Becky Harris and Charles Chester were reelected to their positions

WEB SITE REPORT

Lelia made a report on usage of the NESCB website.

ANNUAL REPORT

Lisa and Jose are working on the report.

 

MEMBERSHIP REPORT

Steven gave the membership report.
