Electronic Field Guide Image Identification Exercise

(exercise from "Electronic Field Guides and Citizen Science: Steering Society in a More Earth-Friendly Direction", Conservation Perspectives, Winter 2004)

Can you identify the organisms in the following ten photographs simply by looking at the images? To make the experience most effective, first make a list from 1 to 10 in which you can write down a name for what you see and make notes about the image. You should spend about 30 seconds to one minute on each image. When you have completed this exercise, go to Commentary on Electronic Field Guide Image Identification Exercise.
